After my exhaustivce research……

Mercy seat

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercy_seat

According to the Hebrew Bible, the mercy seat (Hebrew: הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת‬ ha-kappōreṯ) was the gold lid with two cherubim beaten out of the ends of it to cover and create the space into which God would appear. This gold cover was placed on the Ark of the Covenant. This was connected with the rituals of the Day of Atonement; where God did appear. The term also appears in later Jewish sources, and twice in the New Testament, from where it has significance in Christian theology.

The English phrase mercy seat is a translation of the Hebrew kapporeth (in the Masoretic text) and Greek ἱλαστήριον (hilasterion; in the Septuagint) by William Tyndale, influenced by the German word Gnadenstuhl as in the Luther Bible; Gnadenstuhl, literally meaning seat of grace.

The Babylonian Conquest and aftermath

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ark_of_the_Covenant#Possible_locations

In 587 BC, the Babylonians destroyed Jerusalem and Solomon's Temple. There is no record of what became of the Ark in the Books of Kings and Chronicles. An ancient Greek version of the biblical third Book of Ezra, 1 Esdras, suggests that Babylonians took away the vessels of the ark of God, but does not mention taking away the Ark:[58]

…… And they took all the holy vessels of the Lord, both great and small, with the vessels of the ark of God, and the king's treasures, and carried them away into Babylon

In Rabbinic literature, the final disposition of the Ark is disputed. Some rabbis hold that it must have been carried off to Babylon, while others hold that it must have been hidden lest it be carried off into Babylon and never brought back.[59] A late 2nd-century rabbinic work known as the Tosefta states the opinions of these rabbis that Josiah, the king of Judah, stored away the Ark, along with the jar of manna, and a jar containing the holy anointing oil, the rod of Aaron which budded and a chest given to Israel by the Philistines.[60] This was said to have been done in order to prevent their being carried off into Babylon as had already happened to the other vessels. Rabbi Eliezer and Rabbi Shimon, in the same rabbinic work, state that the Ark was, in fact, taken into Babylon. Rabbi Yehudah, dissenting, says that the Ark was stored away in its own place, meaning, somewhere on the Temple Mount.

But we all know:

The Nazis take Jones and Marion to an area where the Ark will be opened and tie them to a post to observe. Belloq, dressed as an Israelite high priest, performs a ceremonial opening of the Ark and finds it full of sand. Angelic specters emerge from the Ark, destroying the equipment the Nazis are using to film the opening, and Jones tells Marion to close her eyes and not look. Belloq and the others look on in astonishment as the apparitions are suddenly revealed to be angels of death. A vortex of flame forms above the Ark and shoots bolts of fiery energy into the gathered Nazi soldiers, killing them all. Belloq, Toht and Dietrich all scream in terror as the Ark turns its fury on them: Dietrich's head shrivels up, Toht's face is melted off his skull and Belloq's head explodes. Flames then engulf the remains of the doomed assembly, save for Jones and Marion, and the pillar of fire rises into the sky. The Ark's lid is blasted high into the air before dropping back down onto the Ark and sealing it. Jones and Marion find their ropes burned off and embrace.

In Washington, D.C., the Army Intelligence agents inform Jones and Marcus Brody that the Ark is someplace safe and will be studied by "top men". The Ark is then shown being stored in a giant government warehouse among countless similar crates.

We have it all

A few misconceptions.

Sumeria, Babylon pre-dated practices in Caanan,

The pagans practice ALL consisted of human sacrifices.

Pedophila, homosexuality and brother./sister marriages were common in Grrek Roman and Eqyptian cultures.

The monotheistic Hebrews prohibited the "wickedness" memtionaed above, while some of the their Hebrew cousins remained pagans (in Cannan). There was really such religion as Jewish after the unified Kindom in the area or Caanan. There were commonly known then as Israelites

There was a separation od Caanan into tow parts = a reduced area of 10 tribes in Caanan and 2 tribes broke off to for Judeah (the land of the Jews)

The Ca\ananites revertedto ot contijnues their wicked pagan religions, while the God-fearing Judean Israelites remained faithful

The Cannanites were invaded by their northern semitic tribes (assyrians?) and wiped out and scatterd into oblivion (possible escaping to, or take captive to northern/Assyrian lands (closer the area of the Khazars)

The Kingdom of Judeah was conquered an take into slavery into Babylon. Some maintained the "Jewish" faith and practices, while others assimilated into Babylon (when in Rome does as the Romans is a good analogy) God-fearing Jews shrunk in numbers with some adopting Babylonian culture and polytheism.

Cyrus invades babylon and allows Jew to return home to Judeah with capital in Jerusalem.

Story is getting too long, so I will suggest you read the history (mwhich is mostly the Old Testament.

I let out some pieces and time periods but this will give some who have a confused picture a little guidance to understand the written history.

I do't profess to be an expert, just a curious student of history, so might have been a little inaccurate (e.g . 1st invasion of Assyrains, might have been another group of northern tribes in the area of today's Syrian /western Iraq - boundaries were indistinct and fluid - Syria & Iraq are modern names for geographic places so easier to ID the general area.

Same with Khazar, but a series of invasion might likely scatter or capture the pagan Israelites towards the north west (Turkey/Armenia of today)

In summary: I suspect the lost tribes who were scattered consisten of the 10 tribes of pagan Israelites, plus some portion of the Judean that reverted to Babylonian paganisn.

Accordingly, is the Khazars theory is correct it wold most likely be the pagan Israelites, not the Judeans (Jews). In any case, it appears the there was at minimum two distinct groups of Israelite, all from early Caanan (before the split), but on from Judeah (2) tribes and one from Caanan (10 tribes)

Also:

Phoenician culture was early written language but disappeared, likely having been conquered by one or more of their neighbors or trading partners

Feel free to correct any significant errors - I am working solely from memory and may have muddle up some small parts.

My suggestion is read some of the Wikipedia articles. They are easier to read an a tad more objective (plz excuse misspellings - tired)

Their bloodlines diverged as well somewhere well before the time of Jesus. No one has genealogical records that old but Y chromosome DNS should be distinctly different at some part of the chain. Male line stays pretty much the same through male descendants, and even mixed marriages won't change that. For example, only certain sections are relevant for family ancestry purposes. Mine is nearly identical to my grandfather back to 1640 AD.

You may be unaware of several (2) Councils of Nicea, , with several others in between. It is worth noting who the councils consisted of and what issues they considered.

First Council of Nicaea

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Council_of_Nicaea

Also see: First seven ecumenical councils 325-787AD

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_seven_ecumenical_councils

"Constantine had invited all 1,800 bishops of the Christian church within the Roman Empire (about 1,000 in the east and 800 in the west),"

That information is available and is not as sinister as some have described.

In particular: The Pope, is the bishop of Rome. While Peter was just one of the Apostles, he was also the Apostle who held the primacy which was the Christ-given leadership among them (Mt 16:18). As the successor of Peter, Catholics believe that the Bishop (Pope) of Rome holds same role among his brother bishops. He is like the chairman of a board of directors. Another analogy is that he is like the captain of a basketball team. While he is just a player like all the others, he is also the player with the additional responsibility of holding the team together (i.e., Church unity) and maintaining its game plays (i.e., Church orthodoxy). https://catholicbridge.com/orthodox/pope_bishop_of_rome_primacy.php

Many refer to is as "the Catholic Church but as I recall that was pretty much the only Christians, not withstanding some splinter groups that went their own way (i.e Arainism, Hellenic-Egyptian Coptic, Yazidis, Ethiopian in 4th Century) et al,

Mainstream Christianity was synonymous with Catholic, with exception of East/West at the end of Roman Empire

Relatively stable until Reformation, Martin Luther et al. Various Protestants rejected Pope as authorive and restructured to more local control, ultimately to the Congressional forms self-organized with all laymen, no priest, bishops

I personally was raised as Roman Catholic but "feel away" for some of the same motivation.

Longer story but continued the basic faith but decided I didn't need all the rituals and priestly intersession between God and I.

Decided I didn't need their "middle-management" and could go around them and talk to the"boss" directly.

I did a pretty sketchy job of laying out the early history (to address specific common misconceptions.

References in Wiki are fairly thorough, but more "Catholic-oriented" ( re:history of Papacy) is helpful too

Not peddling any denomination but consider myself as Christian (one, among many flavors, of vanilla)

Details and practice vary, but core is the 99% same.

You mistake them for actual information sources.

I am sure you realize they are only looking for quotes they can use to ridicule and make us look loony.

They have lots to draw from here already.

Maybe you could write that story about Rh- blood comes from?

This might help you get started

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rh_blood_group_system#Rh_nomenclature

(excerpt)

The term "Rh" was originally an abbreviation of "Rhesus factor." It was discovered in 1937 by Karl Landsteiner and Alexander S. Wiener who, at the time, believed it to be a similar antigen found in rhesus monkey red blood cells. It was subsequently learned the human factor is not identical to the rhesus monkey factor; but by then, "Rhesus Group" and like terms were already in widespread, worldwide use. Thus, notwithstanding it is a misnomer, the term survives (e.g. rhesus blood group system, and the obsolete terms rhesus factor, rhesus positive, and rhesus negative - all three which actually refer specifically and only to the Rh D factor; and, thus, are misleading when unmodified). Contemporary practice is to use "Rh" as a term of art instead of "Rhesus"; viz. "Rh Group," "Rh factors," "Rh D," etc.

You skipped quite a bit of history there.

What happened to the Romans (Carthage & Phoenicia) and later the Visigoths & Huns (in Venice), Salian Franks in the (Netherlands) and Holy Roman Empire (most of Europe) before there was a UK.

DNA halo-groups indicate the genetic are fundamentally different (male line Y chromosome) so finding a single bloodline that ruled those areas changed several times, with different DNA/ethnicity.

From late Rome through today the dominate religion changed from local pagan gods to Christianity

The Europeans collectively have maintained fairly compete records of ruling families back to the Frankish tribes/kingdom around 400 AD.

Much of European royalty can trace ancestry back to Charlemagne and some back to the Franks ( I have traced my own to ~400 AD, but I am American and just a regular guy; no inherited wealth).

Your theory sounds good until you match is up against recorded history and then it falls apart. Most of the ancient rulers had no need to "hide" their "secret" religion, and more or less "imposed" their religion on their kingdoms/empires. Most became Christians voluntarily

BTW - William of Orange was not the first non-Anglo king of England.

William I "the Conqueror" was a Norman (Normandy/France) with some Viking ancestry (Rollo, 1st Duke of Normandy)

BTW - None of them were Jews, or had any known Jewish or Egyptian/Greek/Semitic ancestry

Before you write another long diatribe you ought to read some history and look at some maps with ancient places identified.

Caanan, Ehhiopia, Persia (Zoaraster), Egypt, Scythia and Thrace cover a lot of geography and not a lot of consistency across them (including huge time/era differences.). There were presumably (3) sons of Noah and (12) tribes of Israel plus many not identified to Jewish prophets (Chinese, Hindus, Siberians, etc,)

They don't all seem to be from the same genetic lineage (see DNA Halogroups)

Is there some theory there or random unconnected connections?

So how closely do written works of fiction and your personal view line up with real historical evidence?

American was founded by primarily Christian as settlers of a Christian nation.

The middle easterners left no evidence of their path you described. The rest of that story would be difficult to "know" by Joseph Smith 1820. They have a very unique set of beliefs that are not shared with any other Christian groups, chance the attitude of other Christians, since they consider "Moroni" to be a prophet/angel.

Incidentally , they have quite a hierarchy, and historically had some "pagan" beliefs.

The Phoenician "vast maritime empire" covered the Mediterranean, but no evidence they went beyond (or traces of other civilizations would have turned up in the middle east.

They were identified in the Bible as the Philistines, and were inconstant conflict the the Israelites, and considered them enemies so might have had trouble moving inland and blending in, unnoticed.
