The question was more rhetorical and less of a bash. Progressive LEFT is not an insult, not sure why anyone would take it as one. As you've stated, of course no one (with relative sanity) will defend those guilty of horrible crimes against children. What's being pointed out is that those who are the public faces/leaders of the Progressive Left are one & the same who are guilty of said crimes. Whether they were blackmailed into it, or it's a personal preference, doesn't matter. They have lied to & hidden behind their supporters & voters, which they are soon to lose once exposed as a group of pedophiles. That's the point that Q was making. A foreshadowing of what will happen, Not an insult to those Americans who consider themselves to be the Progressive Left.
Once the public is aware, they will "divide" & separate themselves from the perpetrators, political parties aside, no one will support or defend such sick people, whether those sickos are on the left or the right, or centrists, or men, or women, or christian, or hindu, none of that will (or ultimately should) matter. It's a matter simply, of Good vs Evil/Right vs Wrong.
