Nikki Haley: "It's Not That Israel Needs America, America Needs Israel"

Nikki Haley's most spirited moment during the 2024 Republican presidential primary debate on Wednesday was when she went on a tirade in defense of US aid to Israel by claiming Israel doesn't need America but "America needs Israel."

After screaming at Vivek Ramaswamy for wanting "to go and defund Israel," Haley said: "You want to cut the aid off! Let me tell you, it's not that Israel needs America, America needs Israel!"

America's GDP in 2021 was $23.23 trillion versus Israel's GPD of $488.5 billion. The US gives Israel billions of dollars a year which Israel regularly uses to buy US treasuries – effectively lending us back our own aid money and charging us interest. According to the US Treasury's latest numbers, they currently hold $46 billion in US treasuries.

Kek. This woman is batshit insane. We need Israel like a dog needs ticks. What we need FROM Israel is all the aid we've given them, since 1948 returned to the American people, with interest and adjusted for inflation.
