I noticed some interesting points in this RT article that make me believe Prigozhin isn’t dead:
• “ Prigozhin agreed that the men who took part in the mutiny would be redeployed to Belarus, while those who refused would be incorporated into units under the control of the Russian Defense Ministry.”.
Counterpoints:
-
The day after the coup Prigozhin was in a meeting at the Kremlin in the room with Putin with other military and Wagner leaders. Why would Putin allow the leader of the mutiny to be in the same room with him?
-
If all the men that took part on the mutiny, and Prigzhon was supposedly lead the insurrection, he was never sent to Belarus. He was seen in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
-
Why would Prigozhin have any say to where the mutineers would be sent.
-
Poland had been threatening Belarus for months, so much so Putin put nuclear weapons in the country to protect them. Then the most effective and brutal fighting force (who supposedly were the trooops) responsible for the coup were sent to Belarus. And almost immediately started to train Belarusian soldiers in the Wagner warfare tactics, a 100 miles from Kiev and a short distance from the Polish border.
• “ After two months of silence, Prigozhin released a video –apparently filmed in Africa – on Monday. In the clip, he said that the Wagner Group had reopened recruitment, and was conducting “reconnaissance and search activities” against “ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and other bandits” across the continent.”
Counterpoint: If he was setting up shop in Africa, and France and other countries were scared to death of them, why was he back in Moscow two days later? Did Putin and Evegny set up a grand psyop?
• “Is Prigozhin definitely dead?
Although Rosaviatsiya said that Prigozhin’s name was on board,it did not explicitly pronounce the Wagner chief dead. As of late Wednesday evening, Russian officials said that they had recoveredeight bodies, though none had been named by that time”.
• “and that all three crew and seven passengers on board were killed”
Counter: There were 3 crew members and 7 passengers, so a total of 10, what happened to the two other? How would they know all were dead if they only find 8 bodies?
• “Russian authorities have confirmed that a private jet with Wagner Group founderEvgeny Prigozhin listed as a passenger”
• Rosaviatsiya, theRussian federal air transport agency, said that Prighozhin was on board, along with several high-ranking Wagner commanders.
-
Counter: with the whole of the West and the CIA desperately wanting to kill him why would “they” list Evgeny on board. Wouldn’t that be a terrible error because other military would find out and shoot the plane down.
-
Why would the say =listed on board in one place and then say== he was definitely on board? It seems like the contradictory reporting on the day of the mutiny from Russian media
• “Who is Evgeny Prigozhin? A successful businessman in the catering industry and aconfidant of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prigozhin founded the Wagner Group”
Counter: i think this statement speaks for itself. In a seemingly last statement he is still a confident of Putin. The western press says Putin holds a grudge on betrayers, and would kill them eventually. There’s many reasons for this being propaganda besides the fact Wagner is conducting an operation in Africa on behalf of Russia’s interest. Would Putin really kill the much beloved leader of Wagner, there would be major blow back on Moscow from the Wagner leaders and troops?
• “Some Russian outlets identified the plane’s tail number as RA-02795,which is believed to belong to Prigozhin.”
Counter: isn’t ownership of planes listed publicly in all countries? Why wouldn’t the press “know” he owned it?
• “With his troops fighting in the months-long battle for the city of Artyomovsk (known as Bakhmut in Ukraine), Prigozhin made regular statements to the media and publiclyfeuded with the Russian Defense Ministryearlier this year, accusing top officialsof mismanaging the conflict and denying him adequate ammunition.”
• “The Wagner founder then announced that he would lead his forces in a march on Moscow to remove allegedly corrupt military officials.”
Counter: to my recollection on the many articles I read on Bakhmut and the Mutiny, Prigozhin never mentioned Putin’s name nor did Putin ever mention Prigozhin as the coup lead. The Russia media did but every statement and speech by Putin never directly named his confidant.
Opinion: There are numerous inconsistencies in this and many other stories on the mutiny, I think Prigozhin was ghosted or whisked off for further protection. And the film clips mentioned in the article, is not confirmation. Knowing Putin and Prigozhin and both of their serious expertise this is a psyop.
Maybe a plane never went down…
