So, Texas is being invaded, so could legally declare war on Mexico.
US Constitution, Article I, Section 10, paragraph 3:
“No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.”

Where there's a will, there's a way, anon. Only takes a few hours a day. Doesn't take anywhere near the 7 hours they are in public school. They can be homeschooled at night or on the weekends. It also doesn't take 5 days either. Most homeschoolers go 4 days, some as little as 3.
Before you automatically decide you can't do it, research it. Join some fb homeschool groups in your area and ask questions. There are very few homeschools that are 8-3 everyday.
Anon has seen various a sundry methods and all are better than public school.
Plus, there is tons of FREE curriculum to be found online.
