Valve backtracks on disabling Sprays, adds "Advanced Option" to opt into seeing them (even though the vast majority of TF2 server sprays that download into the cache folder is porn). But at first caused massive amounts of people unable to see Sprays.
Quake 2 isn't in Jail, it was released under GNU Public License, so nothing they can do to Quake. But the problem is that they can keep releasing stuff and then ban, censor, and take down conversations anywhere they are hosting their own "FREE UPDATED" quakes. Like if you go to Steam or GOG to say anything negative they immediately harass people for it. It just really crazy and dumb. When it supposed to be free license therefore free speech to say what you like or don't like about it.
