Weird thing just happened to me…I rent & have lived here for over 4 years There are a few other apartments attached to mine, mine is the biggest tho(This part was a house, they added on the other apts)

Anyway…earlier someone installed one of those key lockboxes next to my door. My landlord was trying to sell the place a while back, & she moved out of state.

So if she relisted I understand why a lockbox was put there.I texted her to tell her it was installed & asked if I will still get advanced notice before showings. The weird thing: She replied back saying she decided to have it installed in case I lost my key & since she is so far away she would rather not leave spares with someone. I have never ever lost my key, been locked out etc. AND none of the other apartments have this lockbox by their door.

So freakin weird. She said she would call me later to explain. Why am I singled out tho?!
