>>1943822 I thought that the Freedom Caucus' repeated requests for the documents was so that POTUS could ultimately declassify them for Congress (and the public) to examine when the DOJ refused to comply, even after repeated missed deadlines and impeachment threats. POTUS can say he did it because Congress has a right to examine the documents and he doesn't want to have to impeach members of his own DOJ.
