Travis AFB is to the west coast, what Dover/McGuire AFB is to the east coast. It's the primary military air cargo hub for the pacific theater. A LOT of stuff goes in and out of these AMC (Air Mobility Command) bases and being snuggled up would be uber convenient if you were well connected.
