He speaks his opinions boldly like Trump, but I just don't think the MAGA crowd will fully support him at this time.

It would likely take Trump taking him on as VP and a subsequent endorsement for him to grab the needed support.

Don't rule out such a scenario, but Trump's advisors will likely recommend a safer choice, someone like a Pence, who is more acceptable to GOP donors.
