Sorry I haven't been able to post this article without the long stringer at the end. What I found objectionable in the piece is the confused, inaccurate terminology around gender. Calling the injection of opposite sex hormones into a minor child along with possible surgical mutilation or destruction of their genitals "gender affirming" is a lie. People of religious faiths have been subject to (possibly appropriate) scrutiny over FGM and even circumcision. However, neither of those procedures normally renders a person sterile or gives them the appearance of the opposite sex. Also, the piece uses the farcical expression "assigned at birth" to describe the biological sex of a child noted at birth.
