The name Joshua is basically the same as I understand it as the name for Jesus (Yeshua). This event (pic related) practically gives me goosebumps even to read about. Joshua (type of Christ) meets the commander of the LORD's army (I take to be Jesus but prior to his incarnation).

Jesus (Yeshua) is meeting him before he goes on to present an earthly template of what will follow later. Sorry my explanation might not convey it well, but it is truly amazing.

The effort described in the story sounds truly racist.
