George Washington only went to a Masonic meeting once. I researched this long ago and am working to provide sauce. Beware–these groups are constantly trying to claim "good guys" as their members. Do not fall for it. There was a big fight in the early 1800s against Free Masonry.

Washington should not be included on this list–he went to one meeting only and thought they were weird. They claim him for the obvious reason to give themselves credibility.

My point is that even with Masonry in our family, we had a choice and we knew better than to follow that path. Money is not worth it, though they promise job connections. So thankful for my parents who made the choice first and look where I am–following Q–freedom!
