you don't 'catch' hypothermia.
you get it because you're too cold.
they never had heat or wildfires or drought or hurricanes until global warming.
end satire
pompeii happened because of climate change.
it was an existential crisis!
the 'elites' are so idiotic.
The guy is such a puppet he'll say anything.
what would I add? If I were trying to have an underground lair?
It's so sad that these alarmists will be remembered not for anything that they did, but for their excessive paranoia and delusional purchases.
how much of her solar equipment was subsidized?
the argument can be made that it's not fossil fuel but that plasma from the Sun inteacts with the Calcium Carbonate in the crust to create hydrocarbons. So while fossils can turn into fuel, that would also require the energy from the plasma from the Sun to convert it.
or it's 400 million years and and energy stored that long but then why wouldn't it long ago have dissipated?
my guess is that it is effectively a continuous new supply of hydro carbons being produced from the plasma from solar flare.
wrong
amphitheaters and not circular.
they are more like ovals, they have a long and a short axis.
the design of them is rather complex, and the centers of circles are used to draw out the edges however, the layout is rather advanced.
different circle centers are used to lay out an arc of the outside. the Colosseum has three different radii for this, the amphitheater in Verona has two.
the arcs are laid out in a way that the edge always line up with matching tangents. This is done by choosing a center point that lies along the same segment.
it's like taking slices from a circular pie, and then laying them out so that the edges match, the pies have different diameters. The result is that the tangents always align, to make an oval,. But the outside is always the arc of a circle.
The sauce for this can be found in various books on architecture including Roman Builders A Study in Architectural Process by Rabun Taylor (Cambridge University Press, 2003) who credits Mocchegiani Carpano and uses a diagram with permission of C. Mocchegiani Carpano on page 139 of the cited book for the Colosseum design and credits Wilson-Jones of Yale University on page 41 for the Verona design.
the images in the post linked were produced using the specs from the information about the Flavian Amphitheater (the Colosseum) in Rome after the theory of M. Carpano
how could it be as no one there was under the age of 21?
the world is full of people.
don't also fill it with paranoia.
maybe they were berry picking?
there was an article last week at SF GAte about everyone at some mud-event getting seriously ill. I'll try to find the link.
"Hundreds at Tough Mudder race reportedly infected in Bay Area
By Amanda BartlettUpdated Aug 28, 2023 10:28 a.m."
https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/tough-mudder-sonoma-race-infection-18333075.php
maybe not everyone, but hundreds.
so maybe that was a kind of fore-warning about what could happen to cold muddy people in Nevada?
see above and note like to SF Gate article from last week about bacterial infections after a mudder event.
"LATEST Aug. 28, 10:16 a.m. As of Monday morning, Sonoma County health officials still donโt know the full extent of a bacterial infection that plagued participants of the Tough Mudder obstacle course at Sonoma Raceway on Aug. 19 and 20.
โWe have received over 100 inquiries, many of whom were reporting rash,โ Matt Brown, a spokesperson for Sonoma County, told SFGATE in an email. โAll of the positive cultures from affected individuals we have been made aware of are of Aeromonas. It is possible, however, that other organisms have caused some of the rashes.โ
Aeromonas is a bacteria that spreads through water or soil."
no
my thought was that perhaps it was a secret toxic waste site and they blamed it on bacteria . . .
and then after being weakened by that the skin is high susceptible to infection . . .
