I agree with the overwhelming comments. It is stunning how BOTH the government people and the public people are clueless about what happens when society rushes into this dynamic.
In many ways, the DOE didn’t have to badmouth the Constitution actively, so much as just leave out any acknowledgement of it and all the history that when into its drafting. The DOE just had to ignore most of history. Astonishing!
