i'm not from the US of A (and i don't live there either) but what exactly is wrong with the death tax idea? (i mean, obviously it should only apply if you own at least a couple of million, but other than that?)

well, if i would make the law then first of all it would only apply to people with i dunno 20+ million $ or something and secondly you could get around it by having a will and decide for yourself how that money will be spent instead of the government deciding it for you

i agree with what you're saying here, but then i still think a death tax is a good idea, just that it should only be applied if you own a LOT like say that you can leave your kids 20 million $ EACH (i still think this is too much but meh)

honestly i think there are too many laws already, there should only be ONE law, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" (or however it's phrased) and then a jury of their peers to decide if that law was followed or not
