Some worship solomon, who some think Jesus was.
Sometimes it's helpful to know what others believe.
There's a reason people called Jesus the Son of David and He asked why. Many thought, and still think, He was Solomon reborn.
>โAll the crowds were amazed, and were saying, โThis man cannot be the Son of David, can he?โ
>โMany were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, โSon of David, have mercy on me!โโ
>โWhile Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, he asked, โWhy do the teachers of the law say that the Messiah is the son of David? David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared: โโThe Lord said to my Lord: โSit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.โโ David himself calls him โLord.โ How then can he be his son?โ
Like I said, many thought He was Solomon, the Son of David reborn, and many still do.
Solomon is the one who set a throne at his right hand for his mother, the so called "Queen Mother". Jesus said that position wasn't His to grant.
That's not what they meant when they called Him the Son of David, as referenced by Jesus Himself asking why they call Him the Son of David and saying how could He be His son.
This has been hidden from many in plain sight. It didn't mean of the line of David.
>Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Ever notice a Q looks like a circle, but has a path out of it?
If it meant of the line of David, Jesus wouldn't have asked
>Why do the teachers of the law say that the Messiah is the son of David? David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared: โโThe Lord said to my Lord: โSit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.โโ David himself calls him โLord.โ How then can he be his son?
You mean you can't answer.
Jesus Himself said if David calls Him Lord, how can He be His son? The same goes for Mary.
You can accuse me of being ignorant all you want, but you still can't refute it.
>all you have to do is ask
And humble yourself enough to accept it.
If a person prays for Truth, then a thought comes that goes against what they've been taught (tradition) so they immediately dismiss it as evil, they're not accepting of the gift of discernment and Truth.
>biggest worry (aside from traumatizing people who care about me)
You're talking of literally being so selfish that you traumatize them. That should be enough to not do it.
>My guess is if you are engulfed in the lake of fire, there will never be a moment of sometimes when it comes to awareness of being in hell.
Our God is a consuming fire. If you love only those who love you, what credit is it to you?
