Ok, so this guy was either obsessed with Berserk… or truly thought that by sacrificing them he could feed the transformation into a Godhand (or apostle). The idea behind the mark is that once the marked ones are killed the apostle can be born.

Do we know who was killed, or have anything on his targets and their connections? I'm torn between the guy being a MK guy controlled to "sacrifice" specific targets, or whether the dude was just legit batshit.
