Yes but real life situations are hidden in "art" and film. You can gain insight to agendas being pushed and programs that are in place, or programs they wish to put in place eventually.
If you have a discerning mind, watching their "programing" selectively can actually give you insight to those wanting to control you.
You are not in danger of being brainwashed if you know that what you are watching is full of propaganda
