to me the idea of trying to force someoen to learn something that they aren't ready to learn through that method is not correct.
it's manipulative and possibly damaging for someone too young to understand or handle some kinds of information to be manipulated by an elder to learn things that make you crazy if you learn them too early.
I had an uncle who loved to tell me all kinds of hard to know stuff that made me a buzz kill to others, and kind of a hard person to be around. He didn't care, he was 'right'. he loved that he was right and got glee from teaching things that I wasn't ready to handle.
