Well, maybe, but Russia already did set up a digital bank central currency, but their Ruble is still being widely used too, most the digital central bank currency transactions are between banks, companies, government and such. Maybe between BRICS nations too. I think there will be voluntary options in many nations. Perhaps not in despotic communistic states like China though.
