because of a new state law guaranteeing 'shelter' as a right (which I'd never heard about till recently) the governor is saying it's an 'emergeny' and she's rampping up the 'give us what we want' rethoric.
obviously it's not feasible to let them impoverish eveyrone else in the state to allow for her 'frens' from the third world to come and live for free in local communities.
