You do realize a spouse can be male don't you? I loved living all over the world but my dear departed, retired USAF pappy advised all of his sons to avoid the military so I married an awesome, wholesome girl who was already in the military when we met. Got one more tour overseas and worked Night Shift in the commissary the whole time. Still married 35+ years later.

It was great. On Spouse Appreciation days I got a flight on a KC-10 refueling tanker that refueled a B-1 bomber and 8 F-16's during a training exercise over the Atlantic. Also got to ride the backseat in a F-16, traveled throughout Europe to our hearts content, bought a house full of English antique furniture and shipped it back to the USA free of charge, free medical care etc, all on YOUR dime. And, all of the money I earned while working was 100% tax free! And yeah, it floated my boat just fine. Still reaping the rewards of being a "dude dependent". Thanks!
