Something seemingly new that I am noticing. Universities reaching out to parents and alumni a little more. I've received at my home recently 3 different magazines (propaganda ?) from schools my family has been involved with over the years.
Are they starting to get worried? My many expensive years of education really didn't give me much in the end. Part of that was my own fault, but I'm starting to see way more successful people who found out how to make money early (maybe even "just" mowing lawns) and continued the pattern in adulthood.
