6K years is unprovable.
But the use of "They" and "THEM"?
just ran across it today in "Scrodinger's Cat" Anton Wilson.
He calls them "T.H.E.M."
but the archive shows it without the periods.

I guess "Them" is actually a reference point, even if fictional? Seems Wilson mixes a lot of fiction with reality. And vis versa.
Published 1981
Very "far-out" fiction at the time; but our reality chased it down, and now it's quasi-believable.
It must've bee tongue-in-cheek by an authentic insider?
Everybody used to say he was a spook. And the books "Illumaniti Trilogy" etc. were meant as mis-directions.

T.H.E.M. are trying to take over the World; headquarters C.I.A.
The crazy book has come true.
If anyone laughs at you and asks "Who are THEM?" Tell your questioner, "Them" is from a book by spook Robert Wilson; and much of the book has apparently come true.
Fiction books are true. Non-fiction books are fiction?
