Anon always considered the practice of worshiping pieces of WTC debris disgusting. I mean think about it. Say maybe a loved one is killed by a drunk driver. Do you keep the smashed up car around and show it to everyone you know to honor her memory? I don't think so. It's a morbid practice. There can only be one reason for doing something like this. It's to get inside people's heads with the destruction.
Was also very disappointed to see almost overnight the practice of holding your hand over your heart, as though you were reciting the pledge of allegiance, for the national anthem. It literally happened by osmosis. To my knowledge no official announcement was made to start doing this for the anthem. It really opened my eyes to how easily manipulated the average US citizen truly is. If the guy next to him is doing it then he is going to do it also. In spite of tradition and logic. Now people almost seem to think that the anthem is pledge. Which it is not of course. In anon's opinion the practice doesn't elevate the anthem nor the person following suit by imitating the other sheeple. It diminishes the pledge. And that is sad.
Ok, I'll stop here. Sorry anons.
