imagine that .
over 400 different illegal facilities.
so obviously the foreigners who scoff at our laws are deeply entrenched.
smoking is a nasty habit
mosquitoes come and go with the rain.
the world has been very very wet.
so ther eis a lot of standing water.
giant floods everywhere, constant rain.
that's why there are mosquitoes.
totally normal.
good for the trout, good for the birds.
to ward of mosquitoes is one of the only reasons to light a cigarette.
and then just let it burn, don't even smoke it.
sounds like the pot calling the kettle black.
I said that because it seemed as though the images were promoting smoking cigarettes.
It was just a counter to that.
also I've always been supportive of people that need to smoke because they are addicted.
for me tabacco is a bad thing to be around even second hand.
it triggers me into allergies, like a cold but really just an allergic reaction.
I had a fren once who claimed that if you rolled your own cigs that they wouldn't have all the toxins in them. He smoked a roll-your-own brand exclusively.
as I said in another post, they are great for battling mosquitoes.
better is to not eat suggary things. Then the mosquitoes don't seem to be as interested.
but if you go out when they are massing, in the early evening, they are gonna get you when you wander around in the dark.
We have hardwood swamps in the woods, and the mosquitoes will be by the thousands swarming around and if you go near there they will come to you and try to get you.
I think that frogs eat them . . .
(in the Spring we have peepers in those same swamps singing in the early evening)

and then she declared a 'housing emergency' and appointed a new 'secretary of housing'
she's trying to pull a lot of quick maneuvers.
but the state can't afford her mandates.
it's not going to happen.
Fiscal reality will prevent them from doing grand plans as she wants to.
they declared a 'right to lodging'.
I guess they got it passed as a law.
but at whose expense?
and someone told me the rumor was she was going to say that ALL hotels and lodging MUST dedicate 10% to house the new 'guests' and the homeless.
I don't know how that would be constitutional given that the government can't just take your house or property and give it someone else without just compensation.
But the deal is 'declare emergency'
do things to loot as much money as you can to enrich your friends providing 'services' and try to get away with as much loot as you can before the municipality is bankrupt.
also there are some in our state who are grifters living off of taxes paid for by lodgers at hotels, etc.
I am not sure if the state, when they put up 'guests' in a hotel, have to pay into that graft account (it's called the 'convention center authority' and was (and probably still is) run by friends of an ex speaker of the house in Mass who was almost like a dictator and who had a psychopathic brother who was 1 on the most wanted list and also said to have been murdered in Federal Prison (and also said to have escaped from Boston dressed in drag).
