yeah was about to say we laid sheets down under the cherry trees when they started to fall. also sat outside guarding them from the birds all day with clangers or pots and pans. still had to sort the rotten from the ripe. still had to pit them. cherry harvest is labor intensive without expensive mechanical equipment.
