Yuval Harari

Yuval Harari has recently written a tome entitled Jewish Magic before the Rise of Kabbalah, dealing with this understudied aspect of rabbinic thought.

Harari did his PhD at the Hebrew University under the supervision of Professors Shaul Shaked and Moshe Idel.

Currently, he is professor of Jewish Thought and the head of the Program of Folklore Studies at Ben Gurion University.
