Lt. Gov of Texas giving the Texas House a scathing rebuke for the way they handled the Impeachment process.

Texas House Dems were just handed their asses.
With the coming audit of funds spent on this failed impeachment, a lot of Dem House members are going to find it hard to justify it in debates during their next re-election cycle.
Republicans at all levels take note from the Paxton impeachment and the "Boobert" theatre debacle:
All Dems are gunning for all Republicans now. They are pissed. You need to keep your noses and your asses squeeky clean. They invent enough stuff we have to contend with. Don't give them more ammo!!!!!
I am not saying these women are perfect paragons of virtue.
I have a friend who worked as an aide for a state level legislator. From our conversations it was clear every aide in the place knew the dirt about every elected official in that town.
They knew who was sleeping with whom.
Who regularly drove the streets while high or drunk.
Who was getting money from questionable sources.
Etc.
The point is, there are always too many eyes and ears around for these stupid pols to get away with anything. Most pols didn't use this dirt on their opponents as they were also hiding crap they had done that their adversaries knew all about. Sort of a mutually assured destruction sort of deterrent. But no more!
My point with this meme is NOT that GOP women are perfect. I think the character traits that make these people want to seek political office also make them prone to doing stupid things - especially once they get some success and it goes to their heads.
My point is that the Dems are seriously triggered and pissed, and the gloves are off. They are not allowing such character flaws to be unreported anymore. They think any of their flaws that are reported in retaliation will get covered up by their willing accomplises in the press.
Just like every weird thing that Sarah Palin and family did was put under a microscope the second he-who-must-not-be-named announced her as a running mate - - this now happening to many of the prominent GOP women routinely making the news.
Dems have adopted a scorched-earth policy towards their opponents. All republicans need to get and stay squeeky clean to stay out of the trashy news cycles.
Waaaaaaaa!
