The few that caused trouble and disturbances, many of which were under the direct control of the FBI and the Capital police, have been elevated to the biggest part of the news. The real news of that day was that approximately 3 million people came to peacefully assemble and redress their grievances with the government. There is never an image of those 3 million people on the news. That is almost 1 % of the US Population (pre-Biden.) Not a peep. The insurrection was to derail the actual news of the day. The people spoke, and their reach was suppressed. It was suppressed by the oligarchs who run our country as selected representatives instead of elected representatives. When the people speak out. They would rather tear it all down than abdicate their thrones.

Singer Maren Morris announced she is leaving Country music due to the effects the “Trump years” have had on the music genre. “After the Trump years, people’s biases were on full display,” the “Bones” singer said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times published Friday. “It just revealed who people really were and that they were proud to be misogynistic and racist and homophobic and transphobic.”

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter added that she resents music being used as a “toxic weapon in culture wars.”

Referencing Jason Aldean’s hit song “Try That in a Small Town,” which made waves with conservatives, Morris said, “People are streaming these songs out of spite.”

She continued, “It’s not out of true joy or love of the music. It’s to own the libs. And that’s so not what music is intended for. Music is supposed to be the voice of the oppressed — the actual oppressed. And now it’s being used as this really toxic weapon in culture wars.”

The U.S. Navy confirmed on Tuesday it has discontinued an online recruiting initiative featuring an enlisted drag queen that was aimed at bringing new sailors into the service. In May, The Daily Caller revealed that the Navy brought on Yeoman 2nd Class Joshua Kelley — an active-duty drag queen who goes by the stage name Harpy Daniels and identifies as non-binary — to be a “Navy Digital Ambassador.” The Digital Ambassador Pilot Program, which ran from October 2022 to March 2023, was reportedly “designed to explore the digital environment to reach a wide range of potential candidates” for military recruitment.
