Interesting historical tidbit here- would have to dig to find the book title/author but was released within past year- USA did NOT destroy ALL of the books. They kept copies and hid them across multiple university libraries and private libraries and locked them down for their own use/intelligence. I believe the author used DoS FRUS and the National Archives to back those claims.
