And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but is coming to an end. But no one can enter a strong manโ€™s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man; then indeed he may plunder his house.

โ€œTruly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sinโ€โ€”

Mark 3:26-29

I'm going autistic here but the Capital-Gazette was owned by Philip Merrill before being acquired by the Baltimore Sun Media Group.

Merrill was highly connected to the Bushes working as Assistant Secretary General for Defence Support at NATO Headquarters under Bush I and chairing the Import/Export Bank from 2002-2005 under Bush II. He died on June 10, 2006 ostensibly shooting himself with a shotgun while on his boat on Chesapeake Bay. Many think the suicide is suspicious.

Among those killed yesterday by Jarrod Warren Ramos was editor Rob Hiaasen. Hiaasen was the brother of novelist Carl Hiassen who wrote best selling crime and young adult fiction.

Hiassen's book Hoot, a story about trying to save a family of burrowing owls from a developer was made into a movie in 2006.

I never saw the movie or read any of Hiassen's books so I can't say if they are particularly weird. Reading the synopsizes, they don't sound so.

OTOH, that what maybe the first mass shooting at newspaper occurred at one whose former owner was deep state and one of the victims has family who has a connection to Hollywood is worth mentioning.
