I hear you. I never cared too much for it , but I can see its link to the black culture. If some of the lyrics weren’t so disgusting, I would not mind it as much. Also the crotch grabbing dancing is nasty.
But, I started to like rap some when the Justified series was on. I liked its Gangstageass bluegrass rap combo. It’s still far from my favorite, but then I think modern country music is total rotgut trash music .. just cheap bubblegum music. Rap has more soul than it does, imho.
