So far we've heard from the FBI special agent who searched Manafort's storage unit. He said the govt learned that Manafort had a unit during a meeting with AP reporters in April 2017, when the AP shared and asked Qs about what it had learned during an investigation into Manafort

The agent went through docs related to the unit that a former Manafort employee, listed as the occupant of the unit, had signed. Manafort has argued that the first, warrantless entry into the unit was invalid, special counsel says the employee had authority to grant access

More pressure on Manafort to flip.

But I don't think he's going to flip in the way the Dems think he will…

The bigger question about the tarmac meeting seems to be motive.

If they wanted to offer Lynch a deal, they could have done it quietly via a runner or through Renteria.

Unless that didn't work, and they needed more pressure direct from Bill.

But the whole thing seems like a setup to be highly visible, and then leaked, to force her recusal.

Maybe she even wanted to be recused… so she could be clean when nominated for the SC?
