Your post reminded me of something else. I bought some star anise from the health food store during "COVID". I didn't know what to do with it so I would chew it up (didn't eat it). I also drop anise extract, the kind used in cooking into coffee sometimes.
I think so. I've ground cloves in a coffee grinder before and used in coffee. Smells good, anyway.
