The Supreme Court has taken more freedoms than congress. The Supreme Court has allowed the constitution to be ignored.
The Supreme Court allows those unconstitutional laws. The executive signs those laws. The Supreme Court has legislated from the bench repeatedly.
We have a system of checks and balances, you can't just blame congress when those checks and balances decide to ignore the constitution and work together to violate the peoples inalienable rights.
It's the Supreme Courts job to check congress. The Supreme Court can strike down laws as unconstitutional.
It's the Supreme Court who allowed your 1st amendment rights to be violated. It's the Supreme Court who allows your 2nd amendment rights to be violated daily. It's the Supreme Court who allows your 4th, 5th, and 14th amendment rights to be violated with civil asset forfetiture.
It's also the Supreme Court who legislated from the bench and created qualified immunity, an abomination.
