TRUTH IS ALWAYS SIMPLE
CHRIST was an out spoken “human” critic of the "authorities":
1) those who controlled the temple (Pharisees),
2) those who wrote and interpreted the law (scribes), and
3) those who robbed (money changers) and oppressed the people economically?
“Supernatural powers” aside, Christ was born an outlaw, spoke Truth to power, and was sentenced to death for insurrection. His teachings emphasized kindness, good works, voluntary association, seeking the Truth, and the use of one's own free will to reject not only sinful temptations, but also conscription by the "authorities" to harm others.
The point is that one need NOT “walk on water” to do what is RIGHT in the world.
YOU DON'T NEED A GURU OR A PRIEST TO UNDERSTAND THE TRUTH.
