As far as I can tell, pretty much everything in the Bible is both literal and a parable at the same time. And what is bound on earth is bound in heaven.
Step outside your KJV comfort zone. Get a concordance. Learn Greek and Hebrew.
Neither KJV nor NASB are perfect translations.
The Bible uses pictograms and I don't know of any translation that uses pictograms.
If you want to learn the Bible, use all the resources you can get. But go to the original - the Greek and the Hebrew - for the truth.
