Its really interesting watching his mask come off for a few moments at a time whenever the camera goes to the side angle and his head goes down.
you can see fear, and the the cover; the mask.
With people in the room, when he can move around, he rotates into a friendly demeanor and confidence. its all fake.
Guy may believe in what he's doing, maybe not total evil, but he definitely f'ed up somewhere in a big way.
