Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) before becoming a White House intern the summer before her senior year at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va.But the Pennington, N.J., native has not had a full-time job since leaving the White House.

Cassidy Hutchinson, an aide to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, testified during a congressional hearing Tuesday that she was told that former President Donald Trump became “irate” when informed by security that he would not be going to the Capitol on January 6, 2021, because the situation was not secure. And she testified thatshe heard a secondhand accountof how Trump was so enraged at his Secret Service detail for blocking him from going to the Capitol that he lunged to the front of his vehicle and tried to turn the wheel.

Secret Service reportedly denies Cassidy Hutchinson’s Jan. 6 tale
The Secret Service is reportedly denying a dramatic tale told by a former White House aide that former President Trump tried to choke his Secret Service driver in a fit of rage on Jan. 6, 2021. On Tuesday Cassidy Hutchinson also told the House special committee that an unhinged Mr. Trump tried to grab the presidential limousine’s steering wheel during the assault as he was driven from the “Stop the Steal” rally.
Citing “a source close to the Secret Service,” NBC News White House reporter Peter Alexander said Tuesday evening that ==this didn’t happen.
