Anon has seen, with my own eyeballs, a letter that Terranos Houston (aka Colony Ridge) sent to a lady in my area, telling her that they now owned her property, and threatening legal action if she did not vacate. They didn't know that she was already dead.
I'm guessing they obtained the property via back taxes, since she was dead and couldn't sell it.
Texan's property taxes have went through the roof…..people having to pay thousands upon tens of thousands of dollars to keep their own homes. Many cannot pay it.
Wouldn't that be handy for Colony Ridge?
Why, they could buy up all that land at a pittance of what it's worth - just by paying the back taxes at the sell off.
