Guise,

I think I just found a good source for information about Mary Lasker and her friend Margaret Sanger. Margaret Sanger is thought of most in relationship to Planned Parenthood. However, it seems to me that Mary Lasker is thought of in her relationship to the development of the NIH. Could both organizations have at least some interest in eugenics?

Anyway, it seems that I have found an online archive related to Mary Lasker. It seems to be related to some sort of conference in NY in the early 1960's.

Here's a sample of the transcripts given:

Quotes: " โ€ฆthe first contribution he ever made to any organization I was interested or any effort that I was interested in was $10,000 to the Planned Parenthood Federation in the spring of 1939 for a worker to try to get more Southern states to make planned parenthood a part of their public health program."

" As I remember, there was someone to go into South and North Carolina and possibly Georgia to try to make it part of their state public health programs, as the need for planned parenthood was more recognized in the Southern states and there weren't many Catholics, so there wasn't so much opposition."

I think this on line archive at Columbia in NY is a good source for researchers.

Notable New Yorkers: Mary Lasker

Quotes: "Lasker served formally on the boards of the American Cancer Society, Research to Prevent Blindness, and the Cancer Research Institute. But perhaps her most potent efforts were behind-the-scenes as a citizen lobbyist, persuading city, state, and federal officials to provide for funds for medical research on major diseases."

"In 1969, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and two years later, became the driving force behind the National Cancer Act, which made cancer research a national priority."

Oncologist on now talking about "turbo-cancer". Canadian oncologist Dr. William Makis. It is showing up in vaccinated people. The cancers show up at a late stage.
