This argument is too old to continue and has been argued endlessly. I'm right, though. I've tried to prove it wrong and couldn't. The only question that I have left is why? that's where speculation comes into play.

What does it mean that Nazi was inserted long after the war? I don't know, but it does conveniently encompass an ideal, whereas 'German' or 'NSDAP' really doesn't contain it. A boogeyman tactic? Perhaps. One thing is for sure, the source of the word is Hebrew.

I started searching the newpaper archives after I realized the use of the word was added to the cover/inside leaf much later after the war. I figured it would be easy to find a headline with the word 'nazi' since that's all I ever knew to reference WWII Germany. I couldn't find a single article making use of the word. Libraries have had photo copies of newspapers for many decades now.

It's been a long time now, but I think the issue was that it was written pre-WWII and it didn't reference anything to do with the NSDAP. However, the above referenced article is pretty spot-on for what I was looking for. It just seemed odd to me that the only thing we really refer to the WWII German Military as is the "Nazi Army" but I couldn't find any reference to it in newspaper publications, however, as stated, the above referenced article disproves this assertion.
