The Arizona lawmaker's vulgar rant follows Donald Trump also suggesting Mark Milley could have been executed in another time

Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., declared Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley would have been executed in a "better society."

In a weekly newsletter from Gosar's office, the Republican congressman ranted about the January 6 Capitol riot, claiming then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and others allowed it to happen.

Gosar targeted Milley, who is retiring at the end of the month, in a homophobic statement in which he suggested the general should be up for execution.

The Republican lawmaker took issue with Milley for meeting with Pelosi after the riot and agreeing with her that Trump is "crazy."

"After the riot was in full swing, the Chief’s request for National Guard was finally approved. But even after approval was given, General Milley, the homosexual-promoting-BLM-activist Chairman of the military joint chiefs, delayed," Gosar wrote in his lengthy newsletter. "Of course, we now know that the deviant Milley was coordinating with Nancy Pelosi to hurt President Trump, and treasonously working behind Trump’s back. In a better society, quislings like the strange sodomy-promoting General Milley would be hung."

Gosar blasted Milley for betraying his "one boss," then-President Donald Trump, a man Milley has been plenty critical of since he left office.

"He had one boss: President Trump, and instead he was secretly meeting with Pelosi and coordinating with her to hurt Trump. That is, when he wasn’t also secretly coordinating and sharing intelligence with the Chinese military. How this traitor remains in office is a question we need answered," Gosar wrote.

Gosar's vulgar Milley rant somewhat echoes a Truth Social post by Trump last week in which he too said Milley would have been executed in "times gone by."

"This guy turned out to be a Woke train wreck who, if the Fake News reporting is correct, was actually dealing with China to give them a heads up on the thinking of the President of the United States," he wrote at the time. "This is an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been DEATH! A war between China and the United States could have been the result of this treasonous act."

Gosar also referred to Milley as a "traitor" in January.

Mark Milley Should Be Executed on Live TV, Says GOP Congressional Candidate Noah Malgeri

Republican congressional candidate Noah Malgeri called for General Mark Milley to be executed on live television for treason during an interview earlier in December.

Republicans previously accused Milley—who serves as the chair of the Joints Chiefs of Staff—of treason after The Washington Post reported on a phone call he allegedly made to General Li Zuocheng of China in October 2020 and January 2021 to reassure Li that the United States would not attack China.

Malgeri echoed those criticisms during a December 7 interview with the group Veterans in Politics, adding that he believes execution could be a potential punishment for Milley's alleged crimes

He dismissed calls for a congressional commission to investigate the alleged crimes because "all the evidence is out there."

"Just convene a general court-martial, and forget a congressional hearing. Convene a general court-martial, try him for the crimes," Malgeri said.

He went on to discuss what would happen if Milley were found guilty.

"We need to get back to our patriotic, liberty-loving roots. What did they used to do to traitors if they were convicted by a court? They would execute them. That's still the law in the United States of America. I think, you know, if he's guilty of it by a court-martial, they should hang him on CNN. I mean, they're not going to do it on CNN. But on C-SPAN or something," he said.

In a statement sent to Newsweek, Malgeri's campaign wrote: "It is clear that Milley must face consequences for his treachery. If an enlisted soldier had done anything remotely approaching this level of betrayal, he or she would rightly be vilified in the media and would immediately be court-martialed, convicted, and would likely be sentenced to life in prison or perhaps even death. Why should the outcome be any different for Milley? It should not."

Malgeri is running in Nevada's 3rd Congressional District, a swing district consisting of parts of Las Vegas and its suburbs. The district is currently represented by Democrat Susie Lee. President Joe Biden also carried the district in 2020.

Ahead of the 2022 midterms, the Cook Political Report ranks the district as "lean Democrat," meaning, it is considered competitive but one party has an advantage. Malgeri also faces competition in the GOP primary, as several other Republicans have entered the race.

He has been endorsed by Arizona Representative Paul Gosar, who praised him as "the only true 'America First' candidate" running in the district.

Milley allegedly made the call to Li over concerns about former President Donald Trump's mental state. The conversation was allegedly prompted by a call with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who told him: "You know [Trump's] crazy."

Trump also issued a statement criticizing Milley in September. He wrote that if the story were true, "I assume he would be tried for TREASON in that he would have been dealing with his Chinese counterpart behind the President's back and telling China that he would be giving them notification 'of an attack.' Can't do that!"

Florida Senator Marco Rubio accused Milley of working "to actively undermine the sitting Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces and contemplated a treasonous leak of classified information to the Chinese Communist Party in advance of a potential armed conflict with the People's Republic of China."

California Gov. Newsom Signs Law Requiring Foster Parents to Show They Will Support Children’s ‘Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity’

California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a new law requiring foster parents to prove that they will support an LGBTQ child’s “sexual orientation or gender identity.”

The bill, SB 407, directs the Department of Social Services to amend the foster care vetting process to deny a family the right to foster children based on their beliefs about gender theory.

State Senator Scott Wiener introduced the legislation, which he says “ensures LGBTQ foster youth are raised in supportive environments by creating standard documentation for their needs, adding more follow-up from the Department of Social Services, and requiring LGBTQ youth’s needs be specifically considered in at-home assessments – including clarifying that conduct that poses risk to the health and safety of LGBTQ youth is a valid reason to deny a family the right to host a foster youth.”

“Every child deserves to be one hundred percent supported at home,” said Senator Wiener. “SB 407 ensures that foster youth receive this essential support by specifically requiring LGBTQ acceptance be considered in the resource family approval (RFA) process, creating standard documentation for the assessment of LGBTQ youth needs, and ensuring more frequent follow-up. These youth are at high risk for homelessness, criminal justice involvement, and mental health issues, and we must do everything in our power to ensure they have a safe home in the state of California.”

There were 53,371 youth in foster care in California as of October 1, 2022. An estimated 30 percent identify as LGBTQ.

According to a press release from Wiener’s office:

SB 407 will strengthen the resource family approval (RFA) process for LGBTQ foster youth by:

Requiring explicit consideration of LGBTQ youth in home and environmental assessments;

Creating standard documentation by the Department of Social Services for these assessments to include LGBTQ youth needs;

Reviewing county-approved resource families to evaluate if they are meeting the needs of LGBTQ youth and investigating related incidents as needed;

Ensuring that resource families have the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities to support LGBTQ youth; and

Clarifying existing law that conduct that poses risk to the health and safety of LGBTQ youth is a valid reason for denial of a resource family.

The bill was one of several signed by Newsom on Saturday regarding LGBTQ issues.

According to a report from ABC 7, Newsom also signed “AB 5, which sets implementation timelines for required LGBTQ+ cultural competency training by public school teachers and staff; SB 857, which will establish an advisory task force to identify LGBTQ+ pupil needs statewide and assist in implementing supportive initiatives; and AB 223, which requires any petition for a change of gender and sex identifier by a minor to be kept confidential by the court.”

“California is proud to have some of the most robust laws in the nation when it comes to protecting and supporting our LGBTQ+ community, and we’re committed to the ongoing work to create safer, more inclusive spaces for all Californians,” said Newsom in a statement. “These measures will help protect vulnerable youth, promote acceptance, and create more supportive environments in our schools and communities.”

Jewish Group Slams Canadian Parliament for Honoring Nazi During Zelensky Visit

Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a Canadian Jewish human rights organization, slammed the Canadian parliament Sunday for giving a standing ovation to a Ukrainian Nazi during President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit Friday.

Yaroslav Hunka, 98, was introduced by Speaker Anthony Rota of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party as a “Ukrainian-Canadian war veteran from the Second World War who fought for Ukrainian independence against the Russians, and continues to support the troops today. … He’s a Ukrainian hero, a Canadian hero, and we thank him for all his service.”

Rota’s historical illiteracy, however, tripped him up: some nationalist movements in Eastern Europe who fought against the Soviets later aligned with the invading Nazi forces, including in Ukraine.

Rebel News, a conservative Canadian outlet, noted: “As many as 2,000 Waffen SS soldiers of Ukrainian heritage, including Yaroslav Hunka, changed their identities and masqueraded as ‘refugees’ before capture to seek refuge in Canada in the 1950s.” The unit had actually fought against Canadians in Italy during the war, Rebel News added.

The Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a Canadian group supporting the Los Angeles-based, Nazi-hunting organization, noted in a statement:

Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) is deeply disturbed over the Canadian Parliament’s recognition of a Ukrainian veteran who served in a Nazi military unit during the Second World War implicated in the mass murder of Jews and others. FSWC is further outraged that parliamentarians in the House of Commons gave a standing ovation to the former soldier on Friday.

Yaroslav Hunka, a 98-year-old immigrant from Ukraine, was introduced by Anthony Rota, Speaker of the House of Commons, as “a Ukrainian Canadian war veteran from the Second World War who fought for Ukrainian independence against the Russians” and “a Ukrainian hero and a Canadian hero,” ignoring the horrific fact that Hunka served in the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS, a Nazi military unit whose crimes against humanity during the Holocaust are well-documented.

It added:

The fact that a veteran who served in a Nazi military unit was invited to and given a standing ovation in Parliament is shocking. At a time of rising antisemitism and Holocaust distortion, it is incredibly disturbing to see Canada’s Parliament rise to applaud an individual who was a member of a unit in the Waffen-SS, a Nazi military branch responsible for the murder of Jews and others and that was declared a criminal organization during the Nuremberg Trials. There should be no confusion that this unit was responsible for the mass murder of innocent civilians with a level of brutality and malice that is unimaginable.

An apology is owed to every Holocaust survivor and veteran of the Second World War who fought the Nazis, and an explanation must be provided as to how this individual entered the hallowed halls of Canadian Parliament and received recognition from the Speaker of the House and a standing ovation.

Some of the Ukrainian troops fighting Russia today do, indeed, have a Nazi or neo-Nazi background — a fact that has largely been overlooked by western governments who back Ukraine in the war.

Zelensky’s address urged the West to continue to send aid to Ukraine. Trudeau pledged an additional CA$650 million.

Louisiana Gov to Ask for Federal Emergency Declaration After Contamination of Drinking Water

Inch by inch, a crisis is developing in southern Louisiana as saltwater from the Gulf of Mexico is creeping northward into the Mississippi River.

Because the river is a source of drinking water for many communities, including New Orleans, Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards, a Democrat, is preparing to seek federal help to deal with an emergency that has so far defied efforts to address, according to The Associated Press.

In an average year, the flow of the normal river keeps salt water at bay. However, a lack of rain has reduced the river’s flow, meaning a dense layer of salt water is spreading north from the Gulf of Mexico.

Edwards said the situation could worsen with historic river lows expected in the coming weeks.

“I can tell you in the next couple of days we will be requesting an emergency declaration from the federal government as well for the purpose of getting more federal agencies involved to the extent that can be helpful,” Edwards said Friday, according to Fox News.

Edwards said an emergency declaration would allow the state “to take emergency protective measures with some level of reimbursement available from the federal government should that federal emergency declaration be granted.”

A state of emergency declaration was issued on Sept. 5, Fox reported.

Col. Cullen Jones of the Army Corps of Engineers said the real answer to the state’s problems requires 10 inches of rain to douse the Mississippi Valley, giving the river enough water to push back the saltwater intrusion, according to the U.K. Guardian.

The Guardian noted that the Mississippi River’s mouth is below sea level and that a wedge of saltwater has been moving upriver beneath the level of fresh water.

An underwater barrier was built to hold back the salt water, but it has pushed past that barrier, Jones said.

Jones said that weather forecasts indicate salt water will remain a danger for anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months.

Jones said the Corps of Engineers will seek to deliver 15 million gallons of fresh water to the state’s southern parishes. However, taken altogether, communities faced with the threat of having saltwater enter their water intakes by Oct. 24 use 36 million gallons of water per day.

Plaquemines Parish, in the southeastern part of Louisiana, is already under a drinking water advisory because of the saltwater wedge, with bottled water being given out to residents, according to Fox News.

On Friday, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell issued an emergency declaration to prepare for the arrival of the saltwater wedge, according to The Hill.

Biden Regime Spends $800,000 On “Harm Reduction” Program That Distributes Crack Pipes In Texas

The Biden Regime never seems to get anything right. Biden foolishly squandered $800,000 on a “Harm Reduction” program in Texas. Translation: free crack pipes are given out to addicts to enable their ongoing addiction.

Since last year, the Department of Health and Human Services has been handing out “smoke kits.”

The Dallas Express reported:

The Biden administration’s “harm reduction” program funds a Texas organization that distributes crack pipes, possibly violating state law, according to an investigation by The Dallas Express.

Since last year, the El Paso Alliance has received nearly $800,000 from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of the nation’s first federal harm reduction program. The group distributes “smoke kits” to drug addicts and told a reporter from The Dallas Express that such kits include a “small, cylinder glass.”

The distribution and possession of drug paraphernalia in Texas is banned under Health and Safety Code 481.002(17).

“A person commits an offense if the person knowingly or intentionally uses or possesses with intent to use drug paraphernalia … to inject, ingest, inhale, or otherwise introduce into the human body a controlled substance in violation of this chapter,” the law reads.

So even though Texas law banned drug paraphernalia, the Biden Regime is still handing out these kits to addicts. Instead of getting the addicts the help they need to get clean, they instead provide them free and clean pipes to smoke themselves into a stupor. Typical leftist solutions designed to keep people trapped in their vice.

The El Paso Alliance, which is the recipient of these Federal Funds, did not comment on whether or not they use the funds on the smoke kits.

In addition to that, the El Paso Police Department did not comment on whether or not they are making exceptions to the law for the El Paso Alliance.

In early 2022 when the program started, numerous news agencies in the mainstream media came to the defense of the Biden Regime. Even Jen Psaki called it a “Conspiracy Theory.”

The Washington Free Beacon went to five different cities to request “safe smoking kits” funded by the Biden Regime’s harm reduction grant program.

The Biden Regime has repeatedly denied free crack pipes are included in the smoking kits.

Psaki previously said crack pipes were ‘never part of the kit’ and blamed it on ‘inaccurate reporting.’

The Free Beacon obtained five safe smoking kits from harm reduction organizations and they all included crack pipes.

The Free Beacon’s findings not only prove Psaki is a liar, they also contradict the left-wing ‘fact-checkers’ who also claimed crack pipes were not included in the kits.

It can’t be correct that a government-of-the-day can, by defunding its FOI apparatus, steals away a right given to us by Parliament to have timely access to information useful for scrutinising that very same government.

Parliament is supreme

The competition between the Parliament and the Crown (replaced today by the executive Government) was a long and bloody one.

The big showdown in tensions between the two came during the rule of King Charles I – from 1625 to 1649. King Charles believed in the ‘divine right of kings’, and was determined to govern according to his own conscience. Many of his subjects opposed his policies, in particular the levying of taxes without parliamentary consent, and perceived his actions as those of a tyrannical absolute monarch.

In January 1649 the King was tried for tyranny and treason. He was convicted and put to death with a quick beheading – on account of the fact he was royal (executioners in those days were expert in slower and more painful ways to execute someone).

Shortly thereafter, an Act declaring England to be a commonwealth was passed that made the House of Commons ‘the supreme authority of this nation, the representatives of the people in Parliament’.

That wasn’t quite the end of it. There was some toing and froing over the next 30 odd years.

Between 1653 and his death in 1658, Oliver Cromwell, the leading advocate for the execution of King Charles, served as Lord Protector of the Commonwealth. His son took over after that, but his weakness left a power vacuum.

In 1660 Charles’ son, King Charles II was restored to the throne. King James II followed, but in response to policies that threatened to restore Catholicism in England, Parliament deposed him and called William of Orange from the Dutch Republic and his wife Mary, who was James’s protestant daughter, to replace him.

William and Mary agreed to the 1688 Bill of Rights presented to them by Parliament, thereby acknowledging that their power came from the legislature rather than from any concept of the ‘divine right of kings.’

There weren’t too many problems after that.

A legally enforceable right

It is Parliament that grants rights to citizens. Section 61 of our Constitution requires the government exercise its powers for the execution and maintenance of the laws of the of the Commonwealth. When it says ‘execution’, it doesn’t mean ‘kill’. Only the Parliament can take away a right.

The FOI Act grants citizens a legally enforceable right to access government documents that are not exempt from disclosure. Parliament intended that the access be granted promptly, because without that the objects of the FOI Act – to enable the public to participate in and scrutinise government – are defeated.

Successive governments have not properly funded the FOI regime in Australia.

MACRON FOLDS: France Withdraws Diplomatic Presence in Niger – Security Agreement Is Also Over, and French Military Troops to Depart in the Next Few Months

The French influence in Africa is crumbling in front of our eyes. After a long impasse with the Coup junta in Niger, President Emmanuel Macron announced that France is leaving the West African nation, diplomatically and militarily.

Associated Press reported:

“President Emmanuel Macron announced Sunday that France will end its military presence in Niger and pull its ambassador out of the country after its democratically elected president was deposed in a coup.

The announcement is a significant, if predicted, blow to France’s policy in Africa, after French troops pulled out of neighboring Mali and Burkina Faso in recent years after coups there. France had stationed thousands of troops in the region at the request of African leaders to fight jihadist groups.”

France has maintained some 1,500 troops in its former colony of Niger, even though, since the July coup, they had repeatedly refused orders by the new junta for its ambassador to leave.

Macron has expressed that France didn’t recognize the coup leaders as legitimate.

“In an interview with France-2 television, Macron said that he spoke Sunday to ousted President Mohamed Bazoum, and told him that ‘France has decided to bring back its ambassador, and in the coming hours our ambassador and several diplomats will return to France’.

He added, ‘And we will put an end to our military cooperation with the Niger authorities.” He said the troops would be gradually pulled out, likely by the end of the year’.”

He made a point of reminding everyone that France’s military presence in Niger was in response to a request from Niger’s government.

The move deals a tremendous blow to France’s influence in the region, while Macron said France would ‘not be held hostage by the putschists’.

He has time and again argued that he still regarded Bazoum, currently held prisoner by the coup leaders, as the country’s legitimate leader.

The secretary of the Home Affairs Department, Mike Pezzullo, has been referred to the Australian public service commissioner over text messages he is alleged to have sent to a Liberal Party powerbroker.

The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age have published the texts said to have been sent over a number of years between Mr Pezzullo and Scott Briggs, an influential figure within the Liberal Party.

Mr Briggs has held a number of roles within the party, including deputy director of the New South Wales branch and president of the federal electoral conference in former prime minister Scott Morrison's seat of Cook.

Many of the published messages refer to ministerial appointments under former Coalition governments, including appointments for those with responsibility for Mr Pezzullo's Home Affairs Department.

In a message allegedly sent to Mr Briggs during the Liberal Party's 2018 leadership contest, Mr Pezzullo advocated for the appointment of a prominent conservative as home affairs minister.

Other messages regard appointments like attorney-general and defence minister.

Mr Pezzullo was the first person appointed to lead the newly created Home Affairs Department in 2017, and has held the role under both Coalition and Labor governments.

Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil said the messages will be considered by the public service commissioner.

"I am aware of reporting regarding communications between Mr Michael Pezzullo and Mr Scott Briggs," she said.

"Last night I referred this matter to the Australian Public Service Commissioner, Dr Gordon de Brouwer."

The Greens' Home Affairs spokesperson, Senator Nick McKim, said Mr Pezzullo's position as Secretary was untenable.

He said Mr Pezzullo should offer his own resignation, and if he doesn't, the Prime Minister should sack him.

"There is no doubt now that his position is untenable, and if he's not prepared to step up and do the right thing, then Mr Albanese should step up and act," he said.

The Department of Home Affairs has declined to comment.

Many of the messages relate to ministerial appointments under former Coalition governments

Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil says she has referred the matter to the public service commissioner

The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age have published the texts said to have been sent over a number of years between Mr Pezzullo and Scott Briggs, an influential figure within the Liberal Party.

Mr Briggs has held a number of roles within the party, including deputy director of the New South Wales branch and president of the federal electoral conference in former prime minister Scott Morrison's seat of Cook.

Many of the published messages refer to ministerial appointments under former Coalition governments, including appointments for those with responsibility for Mr Pezzullo's Home Affairs Department.

In a message allegedly sent to Mr Briggs during the Liberal Party's 2018 leadership contest, Mr Pezzullo advocated for the appointment of a prominent conservative as home affairs minister.

"You need a right winger in there – people smugglers will be watching … Please feed that in [to Morrison and Turnbull]," the newspapers claim Mr Pezzullo said in one of the published messages.==

Other messages regard appointments like attorney-general and defence minister.

Some of the conversations also appear to show disdain for parliamentary processes like Senate estimates, where senators are given the opportunity to grill departmental officials about policy.

Mr Pezzullo was the first person appointed to lead the newly created Home Affairs Department in 2017, and has held the role under both Coalition and Labor governments.

Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil said the messages will be considered by the public service commissioner.

"I am aware of reporting regarding communications between Mr Michael Pezzullo and Mr Scott Briggs," she said.

"Last night I referred this matter to the Australian Public Service Commissioner, Dr Gordon de Brouwer."

The Greens' Home Affairs spokesperson, Senator Nick McKim, said Mr Pezzullo's position as Secretary was untenable.

He said Mr Pezzullo should offer his own resignation, and if he doesn't, the Prime Minister should sack him.

"There is no doubt now that his position is untenable, and if he's not prepared to step up and do the right thing, then Mr Albanese should step up and act," he said.

The Department of Home Affairs has declined to comment.
