Didn't see the video, but try sinusoidal algos:

+1, 0, -1, 0,+1 etc. and shift by 1 and 2.

+1, +2, +1, 0, -1, -2, -1, 0, etc, and shift by 1, 2, and 3.

And so on, … the current letter set doesn't follow frequency rules.
