Iowa anon here. Can confirm the state Dem party establishment is currently a clusterfuck of finger pointing and existential dread. There are no angry ghetto noises this time, and RFKjr is the preferred candidate of normie Dems I encounter. I love nodding my head and saying "I can certainly see why". Even loyal Dem voters are asking WTF regarding the Hawkeye Cauci on the Dem side.
There isn't going to be any way to manufacture enough votes this time. Even the normies will become doubters in election integrity. The Dem National Convention will be Super Delegates only via Zoom.
On the Rep side, everyone's acting like it's a church social. Everyone's invited, everyone gets to have their say and all of the candidates get their chance to kiss hands and shake babies. Trump is dominating here. DeSantis is dead in the water. The establishment money has ditched him and is now shoveling dark money to Nikki Haley. Vivek will likely place 2 or 3 on Caucus night. Tim Scott and the rest will have no money or oxygen to go to New Hampshire.
