The city of Odessa could be spelled Odessa or Odesa.
O.D.E.S.S.A. is "Organization der ehemaligen SS-Angehorigen" (sorry don't have the proper punctuation with English letters) or "Organization of Former Members of the SS".
I find the spelling used commonly to be an interesting "coincidence".
