Migrants forced to sleep on floor at NYC’s Roosevelt Hotel shelter as city hits deadline for stay limit

It wasn’t clear whether the majority of asylum seekers spotted sleeping on the floor of the former Roosevelt bar early Monday were there after being evicted from another shelter over the weekend or they are newly arrived migrants waiting to be processed for the first time.

Martin Cordero, a 30-year-old asylum seeker who just arrived in the Big Apple from Venezuela, said he was among those to sleep overnight inside the bar area.

“I don’t know what the next step from here is,” he admitted to The Post.

“They asked me if I had anyone that can pick me up, but I don’t know anyone here."

“They told me this is just temporary,” he added.

Another Venezuelan migrant, only identified as Daniel, said he, too, slept in a chair after arriving at the hotel mega shelter Sunday.

eQuivilent power to the electron microscope

only 10 years ahead of it

and with video capability

The Universal Microscope

Royal Raymond Rife was the inventor of the Universal Microscope which he presented to the world in 1933. Besides being the most powerful optical microscope ever made up to that time, it was also the most versatile. The Universal used all types of illumination: polarised, monochromatic or white light, dark field, slit ultra and infra-red. It could be used for all manner of microscopical work, including petrological work or for crystallography and photomicrography.

According to a report submitted to the Journal of the Franklin Institute it had a magnification of 60,000x, and a resolution of 31,000x.

One of the most attractive features of this microscope is that, in contrast to the Electron Microscope, the Universal Microscope does not kill the specimens under observation and affords observation of natural living specimens in all circumstances, meaning it does not rely on fixing or staining to render visibility or definition.

Rife’s Microscope, the largest model of which consisted of 5,682 parts and required a large bench to accommodate it, overcame the greatest disadvantage of the electron microscope and its inability to reveal specimens in their natural living state.
