My 25 year old toyota is still going strong, everythihng working with maintenance including A/C, but obviously does not look show-room condition. Did have to replace the transmission once, after like 250k miles.
My 8 years old chevrolet is pretty much flawless beside faulty A/C compressor
My 2019 grand cherokee 8 speed has the best transmission I have ever driven in my life
beside fords and mazda, I am not aware of many transmission problems, well not more than we had in the 90's and early 2000's
